BMI (Body Mass Index)
COMPOSITION
BMI is calculated by dividing your weight (kg) by your height in metres squared: weight ÷ height². It gives a rough snapshot of whether your weight is in a healthy range for your height. It's a useful population-level tool but has a key limitation — it can't distinguish between muscle and fat, so heavily muscled people often score "overweight" even at low body fat.

V-Taper Index
RATIOS
The V-Taper Index measures how strongly your upper body tapers from wide shoulders down to a narrow waist — creating the iconic "V" shape. It's a composite of your shoulder-to-waist ratio and lat width visibility. Wide lats, capped deltoids, and a tight waist all contribute to a higher score. This is heavily influenced by lat development and overall upper body muscle mass.

AESTHETIC
Measures left-right balance across key muscle groups — arms, shoulders, legs, and overall silhouette width. The AI compares the visible size and shape of paired muscle groups from the photo. Perfect symmetry is extremely rare; most people have a dominant side. A score above 80 indicates excellent balance between sides. Imbalances are normal and can be corrected through unilateral training.

It reflects how closely your overall body proportions align with classical aesthetic ideals (the "golden ratio" physique). This is purely about shape and proportion, independent of how much muscle you carry.

Measures how clearly the three heads of the deltoid muscle (front, side, and rear) are visually distinct from one another and from the surrounding muscles.
