Ingredients
- 4 tbsp Gochujang
- 2 tbsp Sesame oil
- 2 tbsp Sesame seeds (toasted)
- 2 tbsp Sugar or honey
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
- 1 clove Garlic (minced)
Method
- In a small bowl combine gochujang, sesame oil, sugar/honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic.
- Stir until sugar dissolves and mixture is smooth.
- Add toasted sesame seeds → mix well.
- Taste & adjust: more sugar for sweetness, more vinegar for tang, more gochujang for heat.
- Let sit 10–15 minutes for flavors to meld.
- Serve at room temperature with bibimbap, rice bowls, or as dipping sauce.
- Store refrigerated up to 2 weeks — classic spicy-sweet-sesame bibimbap sauce.
