Ingredients
- 2 cups Flour
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1 cup Sugar
- 4 large Eggs
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Raisins
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
Method
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C), then grease a Gugelhupf mold and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and a pinch of salt, then add softened butter and mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and vanilla extract, then add to the flour mixture and mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Stir in raisins, then pour the batter into the prepared mold and smooth the top.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, then let cool in the mold for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
