Ingredients
- 500g Ground Beef
- 1 medium Onion
- 1 tsp Spices
- 2 cups Dough
Method
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, and spices, and mix well with your hands until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball, then flatten each ball into a thin circle, about 1/8 inch thick.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of the meat mixture in the center of each dough circle, then fold the dough over the filling, forming a half-moon shape, and press the edges together to seal the khinkali.
- Repeat with the remaining dough and meat mixture, until all the ingredients have been used, about 8 khinkali.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil, then add the khinkali and cook for 15–20 minutes, or until they float to the surface, then remove them with a slotted spoon and serve hot.
