- 1/2 cup Rolled oats
- 1/2 cup Almond milk
- 1 tsp Matcha powder
- 1 tsp Honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 tsp Chia seeds
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
Method
- In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 1/2 cup of almond milk, 1 tsp of matcha powder, and 1 tsp of honey or maple syrup (if using).
- Add 1 tsp of chia seeds and 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract to the bowl and stir to combine.
- Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight for at least 4 hours, or until the oats have absorbed most of the liquid and have a creamy texture.
- In the morning, give the oats a stir and add any desired toppings, such as sliced fruit or nuts.
- Serve the matcha overnight oats chilled, garnished with a sprinkle of matcha powder and a few sliced almonds if desired.
- For a thicker consistency, you can add more chia seeds or oats to the mixture and refrigerate for an additional hour or two.
