Ingredients
- 1 cup Spiced Potatoes
- 1 large Onion
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 tsp Ginger
- 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 cup Water
Method
- Heat oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat, then add onion and cook stirring occasionally until golden-brown, 6–8 minutes.
- Add garlic and ginger to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly, until fragrant.
- Add spiced potatoes to the skillet, stir to combine, and cook for 5 minutes, or until heated through.
- Combine flour and a pinch of salt in a bowl, then gradually add water, stirring with a fork, until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5–7 minutes, until smooth and elastic, then cover with plastic wrap and let rest for 10 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 6–8 equal pieces, shape into balls, and flatten slightly into disks.
- Place a spoonful of potato mixture onto the center of each disk, then fold the dough over the filling and press edges to seal.
- Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat, and cook the snack bites for 2–3 minutes on each side, until golden-brown and crispy.
